Group buying lowers the price of solar by turning many separate buyers into one large one. Instead of each household negotiating alone for a single system, the club pools members' demand and goes to suppliers and installers as a big order. Larger volume means better pricing, and that discount is passed back to everyone in the round. The idea is simple: one big buyer gets terms a single roof never could.
Thinking about solar for your home?
SunVolt Club gives you a 250 EUR credit, a 48h energy assessment and member pricing, for 99 EUR a year.
Why does buying together cost less?
Suppliers and installers work more efficiently at scale. A bulk order for panels, inverters and mounting hardware is easier to price sharply than a one-off purchase. Planning several installations in the same area also cuts logistics and scheduling costs. Those savings are real, and pooling demand is how members capture them together rather than leaving them on the table individually.
When do the rounds happen?
SunVolt Club runs group-buying rounds twice a year. A round opens in an area once there are enough members there to form a serious order, because the leverage comes from combined volume. That means the timing depends on how many members join near you, and we are honest about it. If a region is still filling up, its round opens later, when the group is large enough to negotiate real terms.
- Members' demand is pooled into one large order.
- The club negotiates as a single big buyer, twice a year.
- Volume discounts are passed back to everyone in the round.
- A round opens in an area only when enough members have joined there.
Membership costs 99 euros a year, one time, with no subscription, and it is what puts you in the pool. Financing through banking partners is available for the solar system itself, never on the membership fee. Join, wait for your area's round to reach critical mass, and buy as part of a group that carries far more weight than one household on its own.
